GEAR UP

GEAR UP, which stands for Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs, was created to increase academic performance and preparation for postsecondary education. GEAR UP is a grant that works with the graduating classes of 2024 and 2025. Each grade level has an academic intervention, and a college/ career navigator. Students are provided with tutoring, mentoring, summer enrichment programs, college visits, technical school visits, career fairs, trade fairs, post-secondary planning, college readiness, family engagement, and much more. The class of 2024 and 2025 are encouraged to get involved in GEAR UP. Please visit our room in the main hallway to get assistance and take advantage of the various opportunities here at PCHS!
