Principal's Message
I am so blessed to be the new principal of Powell County High School. As a mother of four and educator for over seventeen years, I am committed to doing my part to make PCHS the best place for our students to learn and grow. I believe we each have a part to play in helping students reach their full potential.
I am originally from West Virginia, but have called Kentucky home for seventeen years, since marrying my husband Josh. We moved to Powell County almost seven years ago but have been involved in the school system for over thirteen years now. I started my career as a social studies teacher in Clark County and then held positions as US History teacher right here at PCHS as well as a principal in Clark County.
After just seven months in this role, I can already tell you this is where I am meant to be. I look forward to continuing to grow as an educator while in this role. I encourage all of our stakeholders to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or words of wisdom. This is our community and we all must work together to make it great!
