Mission Statement

The Powell County High School Youth Services Center's mission is to enhance student's ability to succeed in school by developing and sustaining partnerships that promote:

Academic achievement and well-being; and
Graduation and transition into adult life.

Goals

The goal of the Powell County High School Youth Services Center
is to assist our students in removing non-cognitive barriers to their academic achievement and success. 

Services

Referral to Health and Social Services
Referrals for Family Crisis and Mental Health Counseling
Student job skills training and counseling
Summer and part-time job development
Drug and Alcohol abuse education and awareness

All services of the Youth Services Center are available to any student regardless of race, religion or income.
