Important announcement for PCHS student drivers and those who get dropped off in the mornings!!! THIS WILL START MONDAY 11/17/25.
In preparation for the new Stanton Elementary opening in January we are making a small change to our parent drop off location. This will only impact students who are dropped off in the mornings and student drivers.
New pattern (see map): Starting Monday 11/17/25, those dropping off students to the high school will enter from Halls Lane like normal, but they will then take an immediate right into the student parking area and follow the path in front of the bus garage and back up the SECOND aisle towards the Pirate statue (similar to pick up). It is important you go up the second aisle because student drivers will be coming down the first aisle in order to be lined up with their parking spaces correctly. Your student will exit your car at the Pirate Statue and walk across the front porch area and into front doors like normal. Then you will turn left and go back out Halls Lane.
STUDENT DRIVERS- you will enter the parking lot as normal and drive to the aisle of your parking space as normal. If you enter the second aisle you will get in the parent drop off line and park when you come to your space. Those of you who were driving the wrong way down the second aisle and pulling through to your parking space in the first aisle will not be able to do that any more.
Just a couple things to keep in mind:
1) We are TRYING this ahead of the new school opening so we can adjust if needed. The best plans on paper don't always work in real life. Please be patient with us next week as we try this for the full week.
2) Our student drivers will be respectful and courteous to those dropping off. I appreciate all those dropping students off being respectful and patient with our student drivers.
3) If your student rides a bus in the morning this does not affect them at all

- Senior slideshow pictures need to be uploaded into the Google Classroom Class of 2025 by April 15. Please remember that you can submit three images--a baby image, a senior image, and an extra image.
- Sign-ups for senior breakfast will begin on Monday, April 21, and close on Thursday, May 8. Please stop by the library during those days to sign up for your table and day. There are 75 spots for each day.
- Tentative Dates:
- Senior Breakfast--May 22 and May 23
- Honors Night--May 27
- Graduation Practice--May 27 - May 30
- Graduation--June 1
ATTENTION SENIOR PARENTS!!!!!
Don't forget to complete your portion of your student's FAFSA even if your child doesn't plan on attending college. Your student will receive a green cord for graduation with a successful FAFSA completion. Notify your GEAR UP Staff of a successful completion of both student and parent portions to receive your cord. Thank you!
